Built for the restricted internet
ZoltVPN exists because too many people can't access the open web. We built the tool we needed ourselves.
Why we built ZoltVPN
VPNs have existed for decades, but most of them were designed for an era when DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) wasn't sophisticated enough to identify VPN protocols by their traffic patterns alone.
That era is over. China's Great Firewall can now identify and block WireGuard traffic within minutes of a new server IP appearing. Russia and Iran now do the same. Corporate IT departments deploy DPI appliances that detect OpenVPN by its distinguishable byte-level protocol structure.
The people who need VPNs most — journalists in authoritarian countries, remote workers behind aggressive corporate filters, expats trying to reach home — are exactly the people being blocked.
CyberPort AI changed that. It's ZoltVPN's proprietary AI-powered protocol — a machine learning engine that continuously studies firewall behavior and rebuilds your traffic at the binary level in real time. The AI deconstructs your data stream and reconstructs it with rewritten byte distributions, randomized packet sizing, and synthetic timing intervals. There is no protocol signature to detect, because CyberPort AI eliminates it before any packet leaves your device.
ZoltVPN wraps CyberPort AI in an app that takes one click to use. The AI runs silently in the background — you just connect.
How CyberPort AI works — in plain language
Every VPN creates an encrypted tunnel for your data. The problem is that the tunnel itself has a recognizable shape. WireGuard produces a unique binary protocol signature. OpenVPN generates a characteristic byte sequence on connection. Firewalls learn these shapes — and they're getting faster at it.
This works because CyberPort AI's neural packet engine rewrites byte distributions, randomizes packet sizing distributions, and injects synthetic timing variance across the stream — every session looks structurally different. Your data is carried with minimal overhead — the AI profiles each stream and eliminates unnecessary processing transforms on the fly without compromising recomposition integrity.
The result: undetectable, adaptive, and fast. CyberPort AI is the first VPN protocol that actively learns and outmaneuvers censorship rather than hoping the firewall hasn't caught up yet.
More than 25 years in internet services
ZoltVPN is made by Zolt Tech Inc., based in Ontario, Canada. The team behind it has been building internet and network services for more than 25 years, including satellite internet for more than 20.
500,000+ active users
People in China, Russia, Iran, the Middle East, Europe and beyond use our network every day. It carries more than 100 TB of traffic every day.
Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
Our 100+ servers run on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, with the security and reliability of the world's leading cloud providers.
Faster where it counts
Users in China who compared ZoltVPN side by side with the leading VPN services found it 30–40% faster. Our servers have exceeded 2 Gbps in our own speed tests.
Proven technology
CyberPort technology, the engine behind ZoltVPN, is deployed in the networks of major carriers and cloud providers, including Microsoft, AT&T and Bell Canada. In 2024, ZoltVPN was recognized by CNET and MIT Technology Review for its speed and reliability.
Beyond the app
Dedicated static IPs (residential or cloud, a single address or a whole range), site-to-site VPN and satellite internet for businesses and homes. Business services →
Our commitments
Privacy is not a feature
"No logs" isn't a marketing line — it's an architectural choice. Our servers don't write your session data to disk. If we can't produce it, we can't be compelled to hand it over.
Access is a human right
We believe people should be able to read what they want, talk to who they want, and work from anywhere. Geographic and political barriers to information are problems to solve.
Technology over marketing
We chose CyberPort AI because the technical evidence is clear — it's the most censorship-resistant protocol available today. We don't oversell capabilities we don't have.
Performance matters
Privacy protection shouldn't mean accepting a slow connection. CyberPort AI's zero-overhead design means you get the full speed of your internet connection, not a degraded version of it.
Honest about limits
No VPN is magic. IP addresses can get blocked. We rotate IPs proactively and provide redundant servers per region, but we won't promise outcomes we can't guarantee.
Simple to use, hard to beat
The people who most need censorship bypass tools often aren't network engineers. ZoltVPN should work for anyone — one account, one app, one button.
The CyberPort AI stack
CyberPort AI is built on four layers working in concert: a real-time AI inference engine, a binary packet recomposition layer, an adaptive overhead eliminator, and a lightweight stateless routing layer.
The AI inference engine runs continuously, ingesting live DPI blocking signals from our global fleet. It retrains the packet recomposition strategy used by every active connection — so when a firewall learns one structure, CyberPort AI has already shifted to a new one.
The binary packet recomposition layerdeconstructs your data stream and rebuilds it byte by byte — rewriting size distributions, byte patterns, and timing intervals so the resulting traffic matches no signature in any DPI database. DPI sensors see structurally random encrypted data.
The adaptive overhead eliminator profiles each stream in real time and removes redundant processing transforms on the fly. This eliminates the largest source of overhead in traditional VPN protocols.
The result: a protocol that actively outsmarts censorship, performs better than WireGuard, and is more resilient than any static protocol alternative.
